remember Chuckles the Clown

Mark---Mark Wagner, that is---and I were at the hospital this morning with Uncle George because he was having a repeat of the surgery he had before Thanksgiving. By the way, the Dr. said all went well, and it's wait and see, just like the last time. But after they took George back to prepare him for surgery, I began to tell Mark about my little adverture trying to find them this morning at this hospital; it went like this. I was supposed to enter the surgery waiting room, knowing if I came to the main lobby, I'd gone too far. Of course, I couldn't find them. I decided I'd go to the main lobby info desk and ask for help, but it wasn't yet 6:30 a.m. and nobody was there, except an hispanic cleaning lady saw me and insisted upon assisting me. I told her I was looking for a surgery room, and was told if I reached the main lobby, I'd gone too far. "This ees thee main lobby," she told me.

ME: No, I don't want the main lobby. I want a surgery room before I come to the main lobby.
HER: EET ees Emergency?
ME: NO, no, it's not an emergency. I'm just looking for a waiting room close to the main lobby.
HER: I know. I know. She then took me to Radiation. (I knew this was wrong, but I could not get rid of her)
ME: I'll find it. but thank you for your help.
HER: EET's Emergency?
NO: Just surgery.
HER: EET' s EMERGENCY !
Thankfully then another employee came up, told me I'd entered by the wrong door and directed me to the other end of the hall.
But Mark and I sat in the waiting room, and every time and said EET's Emergency, we'd get to laughing, until we couldn't stop. He finally had to leave the waiting room, and he said on the way out some lady held the door for him and gave him a very pathetic look thinking he was crying and had just received bad news. But it was one of those times when we just couldn't stop laughing. But we were like the Mary Tyler Moore Episode with Chuckles the Clown, laughing it up where we shouldn't be, quite loudly, and just couldn't stop.

Yes I remember that episode and it gives me a good laugh to remember it.
