Movie Night at The Palace

.

Saturday night we saw Rear Window at the Palace, and Hitchcock continues to be one of my favorites. And judging by the response of the crowd, I'm not alone. The crowd applauded various scenes in the movie, which was fun, and interesting, but also kind of weird. And Dub and Linda, Bobby and I had dinner across the street from the theater and could tell they were selling a lot of tickets and gave ourselves plenty of time to find a seat. It's a good thing - they had a sell out crowd. People standing in the back. I suppose these were people who opted to stand together rather than have an individual seat apart. In the day of cell phones, caller i.d. and other new technology, this would be an entirely different movie, indeed. What a fun night.
