Derby Week Scenes

Here's Ben picking another loser at the track. He got pretty good at that.

We rode out to see the (now I'm sure to misspell this, so sorry) Budwieser Clydesdales and have ice cream from the Comfy Cow. Those horses are so beautiful, and Erin and Jill loved the dalmation riding in the wagon as much as they loved the horses. It was an enjoyable evening.

This was taken at Slugger Museum, standing beside a huge baseball glove. It does make us appear sort of small, doesn't it.
We kept pretty busy through the week, fit quite a bit in, even though the weather wasn't anything to write home about.

The baseball glove is carved from a block of Ky limestone and is at the Louisville Slugger Museum. Sitting outside the Copfy Cow and eating Ice Cream topped off a very nice day.

Love the pics, Mary Lynn. You and Bad Bob were the loveliest of hosts, I know! But the horses and Comfy Cow with two cuties (not counting Grampy) is my vote for the best!
