Quilt Block

I completed my first block of Aunt Millie's Flower Garden and have the second one half done. I'm very pleased with it. Actually the red background is much redder than it appears in this photo. It appears sort of pink here, but is actually very very red. My admiration for the workmanship on the applique quilt Dot did has increased a hundredfold since I've worked on this quilt - and my admiration for Dot's workmanship on anything she did was way way up there - she was such a perfectionist.
